I got a laptop computer! (An iBook to be exact). Actually, I bought it off Josh, but it's only a month old, and I've been the only person using it at his house anyway, so it was almost mine from the moment it came out of the box. Now it's sitting up in my room, waiting for an ethernet cable so that I can have internet access by leeching it from the modem downstairs. We only have one cable running upstairs, and it goes into John's room. So, until I get another cable, I have two choices:
A) I can fight with John over who gets the cable, and unplug it from his computer while he isn't looking. Unfortunately, since it will lead into my room, he'll know that I took it, and much anger will ensue.
B) I can use my Mom's computer (aka: The Bingo Machine, because all she uses it for is to visit bingo.com) on the rare occasions that she isn't glued to the keyboard.
Maybe I shouldn't worry about this now. I'm going to be camping for the next three days with Josh, Kim, Ayrton, Steph, Rachel, Kevin (Steph's boyfriend), and Blake (Kevin's friend). It should be fun, but I don't really know Kevin very well (I've only met him once before, and I know that he owns an aquarium store called Kevin's Aquatic Visions. I am seriously not making that up. He sells goldfish and tropical fish and koi and stuff), and I don't know Blake at all. They're only camping with us for one night, so there should be no problems with that. I think that the only thing I need to worry about is making sure I always have sunscreen on. I've got SPF 45, so I hopefully won't burn.
I've never been camping before, so all I have to say is that I hope Kim and Steph chose a campground with showers. I don't even care if I have to pay extra. Actually, as long as there's some form of running water for me to wash my hair under, I'll be fine. I tend to get grumpy if my hair isn't clean.
I should probably stop typing now, because I still have to finish packing (d'oh!), and get some sleep, because we're leaving at 8 am and I have to be up at 7 to get ready...I can't even remember the last time I was awake at 7 (other than all the times I've pulled all-nighters).
G'night.
